Three scraps, one very small boat
Blue rectangle for the sea, white triangle for a sail, brown strip for the boat. Three scraps and suddenly it's a scene. Haven't glued them down because I'm still moving the sail around.
Six words, and someone at the door
Nobody knocked. She set another plate.
Keep the first two sentences. Change the ending.
The bookshop opened at nine. I waited by the door with my library bag. In the window, a photograph showed me waiting there a hundred years ago.
That scrap paper doesn't have to go in the bin yet
A two-color starting point: cobalt paper and a small orange flower shape. Move the pieces before gluing; the empty space changes the whole thing.
