The invitation

Sometimes a plant's shadow is more interesting than the plant. Or a fork turns into four very thin trees. Look around the room and show what you see. It's fine if the rest of us see something else.

My desk plant cast what looked like a tiny forest across the wall. From the chair it was just a mess of leaves; lower down I could see little trunks. Took a while to spot it.

Your forest made me try a fork beside the lamp. Four very thin trees, apparently. Moving the fork closer to the light made them ridiculously tall.

Did it look like a forest from your chair, or only when you got lower?

Hana Kim

Only lower down. From the chair the shapes overlapped too much to look like trees.
