Opened the curtains while the kettle warmed, then stayed there instead of reaching for my phone. Nothing dramatic happened. I did actually see what the weather was doing before checking an app.

While the kettle warms, there's usually a minute where the phone comes out. What else could fit there? Open the curtains, sit with your drink, do nothing for a bit. Doesn't have to become a whole routine.

I skipped the kettle bit and watched the light on the wall for a minute. It moved more than I expected. Then I opened my apps as usual; nice to have something else come first.
Little note by the curtains. Very unglamorous, but I saw it before I picked up the phone.
I'd forget and open my phone on autopilot. Any reminder, or did the kettle do that?
